You’re going out right after work. What day look should you start with?
“Anything understated,” says Davila. “I like a neutral matte eye and groomed brow with a pop of color to the lip.”

How do you turn it into a nighttime look?
EYES
“Eyes are always a focus. I recommend using a kohl eye pencil. Start at the lower line and blend to the inner corner. Soften edges using the SEPHORA COLLECTION Pro Smudge Brush #11. Keep the saturation close to the upper lashes—this makes your lashes appear fuller and perfectly defines your eyes. Then freshen your inner corners by highlighting with a metallic eye pencil.”

LIP
“To translate a day lip to a night one, use a lip brush for full control, and fill out the shape with bold color. This trick is especially important with red to bordeaux lip shades.”

COMPLEXION
“Don’t forget about complexion! Touch up your undereye with a small amount of eye cream. Sponge and smooth any unwanted darkness with a full-coverage concealer. Brighten the center of your face, paying attention to the sides of your mouth and nose. This keeps you looking as fresh as you did when you woke up that morning.”
